Uploading Media

Before you can upload your media you must become a member and verify that you are at least 18 years old and/or under the age of majority in the jurisdiction you reside and from which you access the Site. You must include your name, address, email address and if applicable your 2257 records address. There is no purchase required to add your media content at iStands.com. For Video and Audio files you may choose to allow users one download of your media or stream media 10 times or allow both. Photo and eBooks/eDocs are download only, we encourage you to watermark those with your own watermark. All videos are watermarked with iStands.com watermark. To list a photo or video item for more than $1000.00 you must email us at admin@iStands.com before you upload that item. For your protection all media is kept in protected folder and only preview may be linked to. When you upload a video the site will automatically create a 15 second preview. Preview and related details is all that is visible to purchasing members until after they have purchased your media. Additional documents may be attached for added description or diagrams and are available after purchase. At this time all media is offered to the customers with a Royalty Free license only.

Payments for the sale of your media are made to you only after your current earnings are equal to $25.00 or more. You may then request a payment from your My Revenue/Balance tab, "Request Payment" button. If you acquire or request the $25.00 payout amount on the 15th, your payment will be made on the following month. Payments are made between the 15th and 22nd of every month. You will be notified by email when payment has begun processing. All bandwidth, transmission, processing, transaction, deposit and administrative fees are no more than 50% and will be calculated and deducted upon withdraw of your earnings.

Viewing And Downloading Media

Buy as you go. There are never any recurring charges at iStands.com. All videos cost between $0.10 cents and $250,000.00 dollar, audio costs between 0.10 cents and 25.00 dollars, photos costs between $0.10 cents and $250,000.00 dollar and eBooks cost between 0.10 cents and 25.00 dollars. The minimum purchase on iStands.com is $1.00. Each purchase of any video or audio type file will grant members either 10 streamed or 1 download for those. With each ebook/edocs or photo purchase you may download those 10 times each. For all downloaded media, if desired, you may transfer that media to your other devices if you are the owner of that device. All files purchased are available from the site for 5 years. You may purchase credits separately prior to adding a file to your cart or when you when you make your initial purchase. For example, if you choose to purchase 1 file that costs 0.10 cents you will be charged $1.00, after your initial payment of $1.00 minus your initial file purchased (-0.10 cents), the remaining balance is applied toward your future purchases and those purchases will then be automatically deducted from your remaining 9 credits ($0.90) that you have already purchased.

At iStands.com you can advertise directly to the customer by uploading your own video commercials (videommercials). Take advantage of the ability to personally market your product or service to interested customers and then stay in touch with them after the sale.

Just like any advertisement there is value in marketing directly to the customer. At iStands.com you get instant market data by being able to see exactly who and how many potential customers are interested in your product or service. You can reach out to them on a personal level with direct marketing, and if so desired, you may even follow up with all your customers directly. Increase the coverage of your valued marketing budget. Provide a better product and experience to the consumer and they will appreciate it and you won't waste your money. Best of all, it is the ability to empower yourself or your company to completely convey your message, product or service to your customer for less then the price of a link/word anywhere else.

If you are offering a $0.10 per commercial view commercial this will grant you 10 commercial view spots for that $1.00. Then after you fund your commercial credits account you may upload an unlimited number of commercials to be viewed. Commercial credits are associated to each separate commercial that a user chooses to view not per multiple commercial views by the same user.

In other words, if you are offering a $0.10 commercial, one commercial credit ($0.10), is deducted from your account per unique (1 customer 1 credit deduction) view of your commercial. Commercial viewers may watch a commercial as many times as they want but you only pay them once for their view of your commercial (If a member wants to watch your commercial 100 times you only pay them $0.10. If a member watches two different commercials one time you pay them $0.10 for each commercial or $0.20 ). You must maintain a commercial balance in your account in order to display all of your commercials. If your commercial credit account funds become empty you must replenish the funds in your account or all of your commercials will become hidden from users until you have replenished your commercial credit account. Then at that time, all of your commercials will be displayed to all members again.

Get Paid When You Watch Commercials

What a concept, it's your time anyway and that's what it's all about, right? Hard working stiffs pay billions each year to advertising companies so that those advertising companies can charge them to advertise to you. You are then forced to watch stuff you don't even care about. At iStands.com we see the world very different. We think that you should be able to choose what you want to spend your money on, and if you can get paid for your time well then heck that's just a bonus as far as we are concerned. iStands.com pays the commercial 0.10 cents USD for each unique commercial view.

Here's how it works. Commercials work opposite than all other media. When you choose to view a commercial for a new product or service you will be PAID ten cents USD for each unique commercial that you choose to view. You may request a payment when your earnings equal $25.00. Although you can only get paid once per view of each different commercial there are no restrictions placed on the amount of times you wish to view that commercial or the amount of different commercials you wish to view and therefor be paid on ($0.10 ea. USD).

Before you can view a commercial file your profile information must include your correct name, address and email address. Payments for viewing commercials are made to you only after you request them and your current commercial earnings are equal to $25.00 or more. You may then request a payment from your My Revenue/Balance-Commercials tab, "Request Payment" button. All bandwidth, transmission, processing, transaction, deposit and administrative fees accumulate to 50% and will be deducted from and upon withdraw of your commercial earnings. Payments are made between the 15th and 22nd of every month. If you acquire or request $25.00 payout amount on the 15th your payment will be made on the following month. You will be notified by email when payment has begun processing. All bandwidth, transmission, processing, transaction, deposit and administrative fees are no more than 40% and will be calculated and deducted on a volume based system from and upon withdraw of your earnings, the more you sell the less you pay.

There is never a monthly fee to sell any audio book on iStands.com. To sell an audio book on iStands.com first choose the audio books you want to sell. Second, format them in either of these five formats; .mid , .mp3 , .midi , .wav or .wma. Next choose the category, title, description, price, delivery method (stream only, download only or both stream and download) and decide on the keywords you want to use. Create a preview cut in .mp3 format and finally create a cover photo and any related documents that you want to add to the download.
